Fees for Adult Passports
First adult passport or replacement for lost/stolen/mutilated passport - $ 100.00 or the Euro equivalent
Adult passport renewal - $ 75.00 or the Euro equivalent

Fees for Children's Passports (under 16 years old)
$ 85.00 or the Euro equivalent

Fees for Consular Report of Birth Abroad
$ 65.00 or the Euro equivalent

Forms of Payment for Passports in Person

Cash and Money Orders: either U.S. Dollars or Euros, American Express or U.S. Postal Service money orders payable to the appropriate consular office (e.g. U.S. Embassy Rome; U.S. Consulate General Florence; etc.).

Credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners.

PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Forms of Payment for Passports by Mail

Money Orders: American Express or U.S. Postal Service money orders payable to the appropriate consular office (e.g. U.S. Embassy Rome; U.S. Consulate General Florence; etc.) in the amount of $ 75.00.

Cashier’s check (assegno circolare): issued by an Italian bank in the amount of Euro 56.25 made payable to the appropriate consular office (e.g. U.S. Embassy Rome; U.S. Consulate General Florence; etc.).

PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Please do not send cash through the mail.
