In Case of Emergency

The numbers below are provided for U.S. citizens who are distressed and require emergency services such as assistance with the death, arrest, illness or injury of an American citizen.

Routine services such as passport renewals, reports of birth abroad and notarials are not considered emergencies and are processed during regular business hours. EMBASSY ROME

If you are an American citizen with an after hours emergency and are within the Rome consular district, please call the switchboard at (+39) 06.46741.

 

Consulate General Milan

If you are an American citizen with an after hours emergency and are within the Milan consular district, please call the switchboard at (+39) 02.290351.

 

Consulate General Florence

If you are an American citizen with an after hours emergency and are within the Florence consular district, please call the switchboard at (+39) 055.266.951.

 

Consulate General naples

If you are an American citizen with an after hours emergency and are within the Naples consular district, please call the switchboard at (+39) 081.583.8111.
